OpenUX is supporting Rocket Pool with user research on node operator experience. On this page we gather useful info, links and updates. For a more rich background on the project please see the project proposal.

Purpose of the project: (1) To identify new ways to improve governance participation and processes, and optimise documentation and support for new node operators. (2) Identify new product and service opportunities that support Rocket Pool’s ethos and goals, and also support others building services or tools in the Rocket Pool ecosystem.

Deliverables

• A publicly posted project report summarising insights, frameworks, recommendations and take-aways.
• A user journey map working as a tool to identify untapped opportunities to improve the user experience
• Personas an empathy tool that helps the team to align on who the users are and how to meet their needs across the user journey

Expected impact:

• Increased node operator growth; the user insights and strategic recommendations will help Rocket Pool’s product development and communication to increase the impact of efforts and investments.
• Improved team and community alignment; the deliverables will help to align the team and community on foundational questions such (1) as who are the users and what are their needs, (2) what are the key opportunities to increase the relevance of our product and market position.

Timing: The project starts in beginning of October 2023 and is running for 12 weeks.
